Is this paid?<\/strong><\/p>

We have been given a grant from Arts Council of Wales to offer a heavily subsided training at a rate of \u00a3466.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

How many spaces are there?<\/strong><\/p>

We are able to offer only 7 subsidised spaces due to the cost of delivery.<\/p>

Can anyone do the training?<\/strong><\/p>

No, we are specifically looking for Welsh\/English bilingual speakers as we have found there is a lack of Welsh language Audio Describers in Wales. We also need to make sure that you are able to do basic audio description of an image just to ensure you’re able to structure a sentence clearly and your use of language.<\/p>

Can I do it as part of my organisation?<\/strong><\/p>

Absolutely, if you feel like your organisation would benefit from having an in-house audio describer, then this would be incredibly beneficial to you.<\/p>

When is it?<\/b><\/p>

There will be 3 days of online training in October, and we’re working with the Torch Theatre to audio describe a show so you will need to be available to come down to Milford Haven to take part in the assessment for a couple of days<\/p>
