Road Actor Callout 1

Taking Flight Theatre Company and RCT Theatres are seeking performers who identify as Deaf or disabled for their forthcoming production of Jim Cartwright’s Road. 

Road will be performed in Park and Dare Theatre in September and is funded by Arts Council Wales, Pen y Cymoedd Community Fund and Tŷ Cerdd.    Rehearsals begin on 30^th August. The production finishes on 30^th Sept.  There will also be an exploratory week of rehearsals  4^th – 8^th July. As with all Taking Flight’s work this production will integrate BSL, creative captions and audio description.

Rehearsals will take place in Treorchy and Cardiff.    Relocation costs will be covered by the company in line with ITC / Equity

Auditions – if your application is successful you will be asked to attend an audition on one of the following dates:

25^th February Cardiff

2^nd March Treorchy

8^th March Cardiff

ITC / Equity contract
