Connect & Flourish

We are very excited to tell you that our application to Arts Council Wales innovative Connect & Flourish fund has been successful and we have been awarded funding to develop a network of inclusive, accessible venues in Wales that are confident & supported in welcoming diverse artists, backstage crew & administrators as well as audiences. Working with Theatrau Sir Gar, Pontio, RCT Theatres and Hynt, the project offers training & support for an emerging Deaf & disabled theatre workforce and encourages inbuilding future roles for Deaf & disabled creatives to Wales’ venues. Identifying a benchmark for Wales in terms of where we’re at with inclusive practice & access, this project will reimagine the creative workforce. We’re really hoping that it will be a game-changer. Watch this space!
