We make bold and unusual theatre working inclusively with Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent actors and creatives.
We are seeking cast members for our forthcoming co-production of Mae Gen Ti Ddreigiau with Pontio Arts Centre in Bangor. Inspired by the picture book You’ve Got Dragons written by Kathryn Cave and illustrated by Nick Maland, this stage adaptation will be written by Manon Steffan Ros and will be produced bilingually in Welsh
and BSL as well as English and BSL.
Access is at the heart of all that we do, both on stage and off; as well as being available in multiple languages this production will feature creative captioning, integrated audio description, visual vernacular and more.
Opening in June 2024 and then touring until mid August (exact dates tbc).
This is an ITC contract.
It is an ensemble piece and we are seeking excellent team players familiar with working on new scripts. We particularly welcome applications from Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent actors who are either:
Fluent Welsh speakers
Fluent BSL users
How do I Apply?
Auditions will be held at Chapter Arts Centre on 10th or 11th Jan, 2024.
Please apply with a covering letter, CV and photo to Elise
(firstname.lastname@example.org). You’re welcome to apply in BSL, Welsh or English via video, audio recording or a written document by 8th December
