All change aboard the board!

After many years of dedicated and passionate commitment to the company, our Chair, Dr Emily Garside is standing down to pursue new interests. Emily said “After six years the time has come-with great sadness- for me to step down from the board at Taking Flight. I am very proud of the work I’ve done with the company, and at how far Taking Flight has come in the last few years. I look forward to seeing what they achieve next.’ 

A wonderful champion of equality and advocate for the company, Emily joined the board in 2016 and becoming Chair in 2017. She has steered the company through major periods of development and of course through the stormy waters of the last couple of years. We will be ever grateful for her time, skills and insight during her time with us and wish her the greatest of success in everything she does.
