Actor Callout
Taking Flight Theatre Company are seeking three performers for their new Deaf-led production, Martha, written by Elise Davison and Steph Bailey Scott.
Performers:
Actor 1 – Mabel. Female Age 40 – 55. Deaf BSL user.
Actor 2 – Kitty. Female Age 20-30. Hearing actor with BSL level 3 or above only. Please do not apply with level 1 or 2. The ability to sing is an advantage.
Actor 3 – Edith. Female Age 20 – 30. Deaf actor happy to perform in BSL and spoken English.
Dates:
6 week contract starting on the 12th of May 2025 with a possible two week extension to be confirmed.
Location:
Rehearsals and performances at Sherman Theatre Cardiff
Fees:
£601 per week
Travel, accommodation and subs provided dependant on performer’s base.
Audition Dates:
25th and 26th of March in Cardiff
